“A unique and quirky cafe with eclectic, kitsch decor and a French background music on repeat – certainly a very different place to eat! Quite busy on our visit but the staff were very polite, and the food was superb. Highly recommend – try the full Welsh breakfast!”

“Food is spectacular
“The decor was what caught my eye initially about this place when looking for a breakfast locally whilst at our seasonal caravan. We’ve been twice now and each time the food is spectacular. The quality of the food is amazing and for the price point as well very reasonable. We’ve had the english breakfasts both times but next time im definitely going to try the French toast.
Staff courteous and owner friendly and approachable. Will definitely be coming back.”

“What a delightful find! We were in Mold for another reason and stumbled across Caffi’r Cob. From the decor, the atmosphere, service and of course the food, everything was super.
I had the small breakfast with proper bacon, tasty sausage and a perfectly cooked fried egg accompanied by white bloomer toast. Blinking delicious! I also had a new coffee experience by way of a Cortado, a double expresso with an equal amount of warm milk. What a flavour sensation. So good, I had two. On chatting to the owner Rob, he explained the flavour comes from African coffee beans roasted in North Wales. This cafe is so good, I’d definitely make a special visit. They also hold regular Tapas and Welsh evenings which would be worth a visit.”

“Stopped for breakfast, very tasty, could do with a bigger plate or toast on a side dish. Always judge a breakfast by the sausage quality and it was a good coarse flavoursome sausage, not for the Richmond lovers.”

“The best French toast I’ve ever had. Went last week and had big breakfast too which was equally as delicious! Can’t recommend this place enough, if you’re in Mold and need breaky… get yourself there!!!”

“Enjoyed an absolutely sublime lunch here recently! Dare I say the best lunch out in recent memory? The service was excellent, and we were met with kind attentiveness. The food exceeded all expectations – especially the delicious hummus with Welsh honey!

” Amazing breakfast
“What a wonderful cafe to visit! Very cosy with lovely decorative quirks but straight to the point – the food, OMG!
Rob cooked up an amazing Breakfast for me today, and every bit of it was a joy. Sausages and bacon perfect. Toast to perfection, mushrooms, and the bubble n squeek were incredible (I’ve never had them seasoned so well!) And the black pudding is best I’ve had in the area so far.
We had only popped in for cuppa n cheeky bit of food on way home too!”

“Wonderful place, cosy welcoming atmosphere with warm friendly staff and lovely food.
Stumbled into the place by chance on a wet and windy day to celebrate mum birthday… couldnt have been more pleased with the way they treated us both. And we got a free slice of cake. Fab unique place… we will be back xx”
